Thank you for your interest in the 2012 Emory Pre-College Program.

2012 PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAM APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Please read carefully before you begin the online application.

Applicants must be fifteen years of age by the date of registration and must be rising juniors or seniors in high school.

1. Applicants who choose to apply for admission using the online application will be required to provide a credit card (VISA, MC, American Express) to pay the $50 non-refundable application fee.  Please have your credit card ready when you begin the application.  You will be asked to provide your credit card information at the end of the application in order to submit the completed application.  You cannot save the information and complete the payment transaction at a later time.
   1. If you do not wish to use a credit card, you may download, complete, and mail the paper application with a $50 check made payable to Emory Pre-College.  Please include applicant's name and birth date on check memo line.
2. Please request, from your high school, an official transcript to be sent to the Emory Pre-College Program.
3. One recommendation must be submitted from either a teacher or guidance counselor.  Download the recommendation form from our website and ask a teacher or guidance counselor to complete and submit to the Emory Pre-College Program.
4. SAT or ACT scores should be submitted directly from the testing center if not reported on the high school transcript.  Emory's CEEB/SAT college code number is 5187; the ACT code number is 0810.  If you have not taken the SAT or ACT yet, you may submit a copy of your most recent PSAT report.  The PSAT is administered to students in high school. School reports are mailed to the student's permanent home address as well as the high school.
5. International students must submit a writing sample.
